Product: HPE-580t
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I turned on my computer and went to my update for hp and and recieved this error message with red flag windows update_8024402F. I did a restart and get the same thing. This is the first time I have encountered this. What should I do?

Lots of "hits".

 

Note that Microsoft offers free technical support for all problems related to their Windows Update system.

 

Microsoft issues security-updates at 10 AM Pacific on the second Tuesday of each month.

 

On the Windows Update screen, click "show update history".

Did Windows Update work properly in previous months of this year?

I did check my update history with is all sucessful back until 2013. I also did a restart and i got the same error message. It will not update when I check for updates. keep getting the error updat3 message.
