HP Pavilion p2-1113w

I've been searching around to try and find out what motherboard sizes are supported in this case aside from Mini ITX. Are there any others, or is that my only option? I plan to purchase a new one along with some other things for it.

Hi,

The motherboard has standard Mini-ITX form factor

Figure : Motherboard top view
Image of motherboard
  • Manufacturer: Pegatron
  • Form factor: Mini-ITX form factor: 17 cm (6.7 inches) x 20 cm (7.9 inches)
  • Chipset: AMD Hudson-D1 FCH
  • Memory sockets: 2 x DDR3
  • Front side bus speeds: 4 lanes, 2.5 GT/s per lane UMI (Unified Media Interface)
  • Processor socket: Not applicable because the processor is soldered down to the motherboard

That means the case itself has "holes" to fit. The case may or may not have holes for other size of motherboards and normally you need a drill. HP only publishes the size of the case

Mini-tower

  • Height: 35.5 cm (14 inches)
  • Width: 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
  • Depth: 38.1 cm (15 inches)

Regards.

I've been to the cases specifications, and didn't see anything about supported motherboards. It does have other holes as the originals in which the original motherboard was set, but they don't seem to fit other form factors so I'm unsure as to why they are there. I'll just stick with an aftermarket ITX, tahnk you!

NOTE:  This specific computer model, p2-1113w is not a full-desktop computer.

LOOK at your REAR PANEL ... NO cutouts in sheet-metal for Expansion slots or an ATX power supply.

This computer uses an external DC power supply (Laptop like), even though it is in a Desktop sized case.  In other words, it does not have an internal AC power supply.

This p2-1113w computer is NOT a suitable case for Upgrades.

SELECT Another Desktop Computer Case (Mini-Tower), that will meet your needs.
