video card upgrade

@petlawrie, welcome to the forum.

Your best option for finding a video card for your computer because it is older is, choose a manufacturer that you like and contact their Tech Support for help.  They are the experts on their products and will be able to tell you which cards will and will not work.  This will save you money and frustration with ordering a card that doesn't work and you have to return it.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

video card upgrade

HI.

This graphic would be compatible with your motherboard:

EVGA GeForce GT 740

EVGA GeForce GT 640

A PSU of more than 300W would be required.

Regards.
