Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there

I have been trying to install this PCI-E TSB 6284 quad tuner tv card. But the system won't recognise the card. Installed all drivers needed.

Bios is on the latest version.

I have read that some later PCI-E systems don't work well with pcie ver1 cards and have to be switched to ver1 in bios.

Is there a way a can do this?

thanks

Bill

@BILL2341,

I would contact the manufacturer, as the manual does not list WIN 10 support.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Hi there

I Have been in contact with TBS again.

Also reinstalled win 7. windows still wont detect the card.

TBS have had problems with link speed of PCI-E on some MB.

(The problem is that new PCE-E standard has a full default backward compatibility with old PCI-E standards only in theory, not in real life. So you should reconfigure PCI-E slots in BIOS. In my case I changed link speed - from PCI-E Generation 3 to PCI-E Generation 1 which fixed the problem)

So is there any way I can change the link speed of the PCI-E? on this HP prodesk 600 G1

Regards

Bill
