z800 completely power off

HP Recommended
z800
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am looking for a way to power off my z800 workstation completely.
Even when turned off, there is still some power running.

And why does that bother me?

I have all my other equipment connected to a power outlet that measures the consumption of power from the workstation.

If the workstation uses no power, everything else is turned off.

As soon as the workstation is powered on, everything else is turned on.

In that way I won't have to look at a lot of LED's blinking on the other pieces of equipment, and I do not need to hear noise from power adaptors.

It has worked for me with other HP workstations before (xw8600), but I cant find the solution for z800.

And now you would ask; Why can't I just turn off the power from the wall outlet? Yes, of course I could, but it is located down in the corner of the room behind a cupboard. So therefore I would like to get the other solution working 🙂

Bios version: 3.54.

Any suggestions?
