Hi all,

Microsoft unintentionally released a build to some customers that could put your phone into a reboot loop.

From Microsoft:

If you received this build (from RS_IoT) on Mobile: This build will *not* install on your device. If you installed this build, your device will be stuck in a reboot loop and the only way to recover is to use the Windows Device Recovery Tool and re-flash.

More details here: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2017/06/01/note-unintentional-release-builds-today/#QBTX...

Thanks,

-Chris

Thank you ChrisT for warning. As far as I know you can install this build on HP Elite x3 without stuck in a reboot loop. After installing this build you will have Windows 10 with CShell (Build 16212). More details here: https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-cshell

By the way can you confirm when your company will release new firmware or eliminate the bug in latest Creators Update? Please see this thread: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Elite-x3/NEW-BUG-IN-LAST-UPDATE/td-p/6112226
