Elite x3

I submitted a service request for my HP Elite x3 (running Windows 10) about a week ago under warranty. According to the technician who spoke to me, I had two options:

1) Give HP $1, and they would send me a replacement device within 2 business days, at which time I would need to send in my current (defective) device.

2) Receive a box in the mail to send in my defective phone for repair, to be returned to me whenever.

I chose option 1, because I cannot simply go an unspecified time without a phone and because I suspect the issues I have are not things that can simply be fixed (especially since the phone is supposed to have a waterproof bezel). However, the package that I've received in the mail is a box with packing materials and a slip telling me to send in my phone for "Mail-in Repair", which is not the option that I chose. Unfortunately, HP provides very few ways to contact them about anything, so here I am. What do I do now? Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

not sure you will find a solution here as this forum is not popular forum and not sure hp technicians are interested by our problems. Try to contact them again by online chat or call them again.

I never got a help here. It seems that those persons who owned this device never met issues with their device.

Regards
