I sent my Pavillion notebook model dv9005US to  hp customer service support so they can fix the left display hinge problem that all of the DV9000 products have (product problem per hp web site ).   This problem is so bad that it caused the display plastic bezel to break near the hinge area exposing the  LCD panel corner,  in addition the issue makes the display closure a problem as the display portion becomes "out of true" since the left hinge has some play.  All in all a bad product problem.  Never again I will buy an hp computer.   After various calls to find out status of the service order the customer service associate/person  is trying to justify a ~$755.59 charge to fix the problem for hp's own problem with this product.  To add insult to injury when I sent the notebook to hp the display was at least working, now is completely broke  per last call information given to me  after these people tinkered with the hinge and the display.  I should have taken pictures before I sent the notebook just in case something like this would have happen,  I would have had  legal proof of how incompetent these people are.
