Storageworks MSA60

We currently backup using Storageworks MSA60 connected to a Storageworks x1600

We have an unused but functioning fibre connection to a remote site and were hoping to utilise this to implement an off-site backup regime.

The plan is to install some kind of Fibre-channel drive enclosure (such as MSA2040) at the remote end and connect it to the MSA60.

Our questions therefore are:

Is it possible to add this remote enclosure to the backup regime whilst retaining the original local one?

And if so, what kind of addtional kit would be required (eg PCIe fibre card)?
