I have just successfully signed up to the HP Student store, and have connected my student email to the HP site so I can purchase a new laptop for university. When I try to log in, it says my account is only allowed access to the public store. And that to continue I need to call HP.

This is where it gets fun. I called twice and spoke to two operators in the technical support department, neither of them gave me a solution to the bug. The second operator passed me a number to a differant department which doesn't even connect.

Its frustrating because all I want to do is purchase a product with my student discount, but thanks to this bug I cant even login. Its really offputting. Please can someone provide me with a contact number where I can directly speak to a member of staff that can help. I have tried the number on the student page already. (02076603859)

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
