HP 2000

Okay, guys. Here's the deal.

I saw the battery recall email today, and attempted to manually check the battery on my HP 2000 by sending in my information via the link provided in said email. But I screwed up and typed the wrong city in the 'city' field (my address has changed recently, and I have evidently not yet made the mental leap).

I tried to redo the verification process on the same page, only to be informed that I couldn't send another verification order with the same serial numbers.

How do I get this fixed? The other fields are fine, it's just the 'City' field I messed up on. I tried to contact HP, but when I tried to submit my issue, the message wasn't sent because apparently my computer's warranty has expired.

I just typed in the wrong city, **bleep** it. But I need that verification to make sure my computer's battery isn't going to explode my legs while I'm trying to finish an essay.

I'm sorry if I posted this on the wrong board... none of the boards suggested really covered this problem.
