Can the HP Reverb G2 just show the Windows desktop? I want to do something that I've seen on the HTC Vive Elite: Each physical monitor can be seen as a screen/rectangle on the VR device and can also be mapped to a curve, so it surrounds the viewer like curved monitors, and the user is free to alter things. I use four 4K monitors, and I'm interested in doing that. However, I also want to use the mouse and keyboards I have to do things. I haven't found a video that suggests what I want is possible. The marketing from HP suggests the device forces the user to use Windows Mixed Reality, but I have no reason to watch something on a virtual screen in a virtual environment; to me, the program is what I want to be immersed in, not the intermediating virtuality.
