My Steam VR sessions keep crashing because the Windows VR interface believes my Reverb G2 has gone to sleep.  This is in the middle of me using it so I can't understand why this happens.

HP helpfully just closed a ticket I opened with no help and no communication.  They should think about what this means to future business.

What I need to know is how to change my headset settings so it won't go to sleep.  Can anyone help?

What are the specifications  of the PC  you are using with the VR headset?

Have you updated to the latest version of Windows 10 updates that are available?

Have you tried updating the firmware of your headset?

I own a Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and there is a Settings menu  I can access in VR.  I can make a great number of changes  according to my needs and preferences in the Setting menu.

How are you making the connection between the headset and the PC?

Is it with a USB powered hub?

Have you gone into Windows or whatever OS and made certain that "allow the device to sleep" is turned off?

I am currently looking at a few setup videos for the HP Reverb G2 to help bring myself up to speed on your device.

Have you seen this  HP Reverb troubleshooting document?
