HP Pavillion hp6-2037c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I"m thinking about upgeadiing my old HP. I"m worndering if the following motherboard will work in my old computer case. The 3 parts I'm looking at are in the link below. I also have a gtx 1050 ti  mini and 2 4g memory sticks that are ddr3 to add.

Thanks for any info.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ The form factor is 24.4*22.5 cm for the new board and the old board is 24.4*24.4 cm.

Here is the link to the old mother board. (below)

Hello@mossyoak,

Thanks for using the HP Forums. One Stop for all sort of solutions for your HP Products.

I have read your post and understand that you need assistance in choosing the right part for the PC upgrade. Is that, right? I will be glad to help you.

Since the dimension of the old mother board is larger than the one you want to install.

You will have sufficient room to install it. I am only sharing my suggestions based on the experience I have, however,

HP doesn’t recommend upgrading/downgrading any hardware/software parts on the PC as it might cause more trouble than the fix.

It will be your sole discretion to do so.

This should solve the issue.  Let me know for more solution.
