Two weeks ago, I purchased the HP 460 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard with S/N 1C141831E2 and found it very convenient as I use two laptops. I installed the HP ACCESSORY CENTER app on both devices. On my work laptop, the app works perfectly, easily recognizing the keyboard on the first try. However, on my personal laptop (Aspire A315-59, running Windows 11 Home version 10.0.26100 build 26100), the app does not add the keyboard in any way, even though the computer recognized it effortlessly without any issues.
I have tried removing the keyboard from the Bluetooth devices, uninstalling the app, and then reinstalling it later, but still no success.
What can I do?

@GICCI76, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Since your HP 460 Bluetooth Keyboard works fine on one laptop but does not get recognized in the HP Accessory Center on your personal laptop, it seems like a software compatibility issue.

Make Sure Windows is Fully Updated

Go to Settings > Windows Update

Click Check for updates and install any pending updates.

Restart your laptop and try again.

Update Bluetooth Drivers

Open Device Manager (Win + X, then select Device Manager).

Expand Bluetooth, right-click your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel or Realtek), and select Update driver.

Choose Search automatically for drivers and install any updates.

Restart your PC and check if the issue is resolved.

Reset the HP Accessory Center App

Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps.

Find HP Accessory Center, click on it, and select Advanced options.

Click Repair and test. If that doesn’t work, click Reset.

Restart your laptop and try adding the keyboard again.

Manually Add the Keyboard in HP Accessory Center

Open the HP Accessory Center.

Click Add New Device and put the keyboard in pairing mode (press and hold Fn + C for 3 seconds).

If the keyboard shows up but fails to connect, try restarting Bluetooth (turn it off and back on in Settings).

Reinstall the HP Accessory Center App

If the problem persists:

Uninstall the app from Settings > Apps > Installed apps.

Restart your laptop.

Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store or HP’s website.

Reinstall and try adding the keyboard again.
