Product: HP X27i
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm attempting to use my CloudX wired headset by plugging it into the HP X27i monitor's headphone jack. I'm about to get great audio playback through the headset but, there's no evidence the mic is recognized. Does the headphone jack on this monitor support mic-in?

It does not have something called Line-in. It has  1 Headphone Out Combo Jack that means you can use Headsets. All Headsets have Microphone
