HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset
Microsoft Windows 11

Reverb G2 was working fine. Swapped out 1070 Ti for a 3070. New GPU works fine, all ports work with all three of my monitors. Other games work fine etc, no issues.

Plugged in the Reverb G2 and I get the dreaded 1-4 display cable error. I have:
-  Reconnected the cable to the HMD and the DP many many times

-  Physically removed and reinstalled the GPU three times

- Updated BIOS, CPU and GPU drivers

- Tried 4 latest versions of Nvidia drivers

- Reinstalled WMR

Interestingly I swapped out the 3070 and put the 1070 Ti back in in an attempt to see if it was the GPU. But the Reverb G2 then did not work with the old card. I suspect it is the cable. I have the old revision 1 cable.

Please help, I cannot manage to get through to anyone on the phone, any online/SMS help service sends me in loops or wants to know what printer/PC I need help with. I cannot get to support for this product. I have 4 months left on warranty.

Many thanks.
