I am experiencing an issue with my GK320 gaming keyboard where certain keys are registering two letters instead of one. For example, when I press "A," it types "AS," and when I press "W," it types "EW." I have tested the keyboard on another computer, and the issue persists. What could be the possible cause, and how can I resolve it?

Hi @smboser, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with such a keyboard issue! Here are a few potential causes and solutions you can try:
Debris or Dust: Sometimes, dust or debris can get stuck under the keys, causing them to register multiple inputs. Try cleaning your keyboard thoroughly. You can use compressed air to blow out any debris.
Software Issues: Ensure that your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can update the drivers through the Device Manager:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand the "Keyboards" section.
- Right-click on your keyboard and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for drivers."
Filter Keys: Check if the Filter Keys feature is enabled in Windows, as it can sometimes cause typing issues:
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
- Make sure the Filter Keys toggle is turned off.
Mechanical Issues: If the problem persists, it might be a mechanical issue with the keyboard itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
