OMEN X 27 inch 240HZ
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello:

When I first bought this monitor the HP GAME HUB software was able to access it to give me easy access to OSD Menu functions via the software. However, I have rebuilt my PC a few times since this purchase; and I cannot get the Game Hub Software to recognize the monitor. It basically says there are no HP products. Is there a setting some where either in Windows or the monitor to help and allow the Game Hub software to see the monitor and control it?

Thanks,
T

Thank you very much for the response. I did try those things and still cannot find  the monitor.
I am wondering if there is a setting on the monitor that would disable it from talking to the PC on that level of configuration.

Hi@TZiady,

Please find the software for the monitor below

OMEN X 27 LCD Monitor Driver

Also, find the document HP LCD Displays - Changing the Screen Resolution

The monitor driver software has already been installed several times over without any help (uninstalled and reinstalled and even installed on a brand new fresh windows installation W/ NO LUCK). Also, I am very familiar with how to change the resolution on the monitor; I am really unsure why you choose to share that article.

Thanks for your help.

Hi@TZiady,

well, I see that you have tried most of the steps to isolate the issue. Try connecting to another monitor & check if it works fine or you have the same issue. By this way we can isolate the issue.

I would, however, I do not have any other HP monitors. This HP monitor is the only HP monitor / product that I own (well at home anyway - besides printers, ect).

So, not really quite sure how I can test this with another monitor? Would the software (the HP Game Hub software) be aware and see other types / brands of monitors? I thought this would be something specific to HP and not even general HP; but the OMEN line of products?

Thanks for the response; it would be great to access the configuration options outside of the OSD Menu System.

Thanks,
Tamer

PS: everything on this monitor works perfectly. I am also able to access the OSD functions via the button on the monitor. The only thing that does not seem to work is the ability to access the monitor via the Game Hub Software (which I was able to do so when I first bought it some time back).

Again, thanks for the info.

Cheers,
Tamer

Hi@TZiady,

We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked by taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
