Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Gaming Speakers X1000 8PB07AA#ABL make hissing sound when not in use.  I tried the devmgmt.msc route where I disabled, uninstalled and  updated the driver but it doesn't provide a permanent solution.  Any advice?
