HP OMEN mouse 600

HP Recommended
1KF75AA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I apologize for my English, this is a google translator.
The problem is that I have the latest driver 00.49 installed, but the sniper button (button 4) still works on the mouse, I cannot assign this button in games.
This problem appeared today, as if my settings were reset.

Hey there! @killedmyself,

There is no particular application to use a USB mouse.

However, if you are looking the configure the buttons on the mouse. It is not possible as the buttons are preconfigured and you cannot change the functions.

Refer the mouse user guide for more information. Click Here

You can try to uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers from the device manager and check if it helps.

1.Using the search box on the taskbar, search for and open Device Manager.

2. In the Device Manager window, double-click mice and other pointing devices, right-click the name of the wireless mouse and then select uninstall.

3. Restart your PC.

The drivers should automatically get installed once you restart your PC.

Refer this article to further troubleshoot mouse issues with your PC.

Hope this answers your query!
Have a great day! 🙂

The problem is that when I installed a new version of the drivers, I had the opportunity to put an action on the sniper button on the same Discord, for example, a conversation, and then this opportunity disappeared as if I had clicked something on the mouse.
Removing the mouse from the device manager did not help 😞

@killedmyself,

Thanks for the update.

As I mentioned in my previous post, keys are binded and you cannot change the key configuration.

However, you can try installing HP SteelSeries software on the PC and check if it helps.

Download the HP Steel series software using this link. Click Here

Let me know if this helps!

Take Care! 🙂
