HP Recommended

My sons headset echos. Even with the mic on mute other gamers can hear their voice echo. Does it on PC and Xbox. Has done it since it was new about 1 month ago.

Can anyone help me with the above faulty mic? If it cannot be fixed how do i go about getting a replacement? Item was purchased from eBay over 45 days ago so getting a replacement from the seller won’t be an option.
