I have an HP Spectre 13-ae004no laptop. I would like to buy Omen Accelerator for it in order to be able to use eGPU. However, it is not quite clear whether the Accelerator will work with this model.
There are couple unclear discussion open even in these boards: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Accessories/Unable-to-connect-HP-Spectre-x360-13-to-Omen-Accele...
Other forums elsewhere tell that it will work if attached through Dock, but that would probably result in performance losses.
So, I would like to know what is the current absolute truth about this laptop and Omen Accelerator. Will it work or not?
Thank you for anyones advice

Hello @Poku
In that thread you linked to, the last update at that time still had an issue. Since then, the OMEN Accelerator Firmware was updated again to sp86866. I was told that update had fixed the issue. https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-ga1-1000-accelerator-shell/15776606
But I dont have a Spectre 13 AE series to test with, so I cannot say from actual hands-on experience.
I'm not aware of any complaints since its release though.
@Waleyhave you heard of any issues since the last Accelerator firmware update and the Spectre AE series?
