HP Omen Control does not work

Hello, I bought the new Omen mouse, it works completely fine but the HP Omen Control does not work and it  says : "The code execution cannot proceed because SynCom.DLL was not found.Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I reinstalled it 2 times and it still does not work and says the same thing. If you have a way to fix it please answer.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that the Omen Control is not responding on your Windows 10 computer, is that right?

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you. 

 

Recommend you uninstall the Omen control from Programs and Features. 

Restart your computer. 

Press Win + R to bring up the Run dialog box. 

Type %temp% and hit enter on the Run dialog box. 

This would bring up the Temp folder. 

Press Ctrl + A to select all the files in the temp folder. 

Delete all the temp files. 

Some of the files might be in use and cannot be deleted, ignore the files that cannot be deleted. 

Restart your computer again. 

Download and install the Omen control from this link and check.
