HP Omen Graphics Accelerator not recognizing SSD

HP Recommended
HP Omen Graphics Accelerator GA1-1000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got my HP Omen Graphics Accelerator set up and running. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition card is recognized and works fine.

However, I also installed a HP S700 Pro 512 GB 2.5" SATA III SSD. It is not showing up in my list of accessible drives under  "This PC" on Windows Explorer.

My computer is a HP Spectre X360 Convertible 13-ac0XX. I installed all of the latest drivers, firmware, and BIOS updates as directed in the setup instructions for the Omen GA.

I don't think it matters, but my internet connect is via WiFi through my computer. I am also running the very latest Windows 10 updates.

What am I missing? How do I get the SSD to be recognized?

Solved: you need to go into disk manager and set up the drive there before it will show up in "This PC".
