HP Omen Keyboard with Steelseries keys not working after few minutes

Good day everyone,

 

The keys of my HP Omen Keyboard with Steelseries stop working after few minutes of idle. i need to remove the keyboard from the usb port and switch it back just to make it function again but it keeps on happening everytime..

I can only think of a couple of reasons why it stops working after every few minutes.

 

Either the driver is corrupted or clashing in the Device Manager.

In such case, delete the USB device in Device Manager and reboot.

You can deleted the hidden drivers under Universal Serial bus Controllers, and also the ones not hidden. They will reinstall on reboot.

Or

You have a stuck key on the keyboard. You would have to determine what key it is. For example an Fn key or PrtScrn key.
