HP Omen Mindfame X giving inconsistent sound

Over the past couple weeks my friends have been saying I've had extremely inconsistent sound over multiple gaming and voice platforms. 

1 day I'm playing in Discord and coming through crystal clear, the next day it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel. Same thing happens in different games. 

I'm unable to find the serial number to submit a support ticket, which is getting absolutely obnoxious.

Check with another headset, if that works fine while this one does not

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
