OMEN by HP Mindframe Headset

As of recently, my Omen by HP Mindframe headset has been experiencing severe microphone problems, that have been becoming worse and worse as time goes on... I decided to contact support and was told it's warranty expired back in March of 2019, yet this headset was purchased from HP on 31 July of 2019 along with a special on 1 (one) purchase of an OMEN by HP Laptop PC. (Purchase ONE qualifying OMEN by HP Laptop PC and receive an OMEN by HP Mindframe Headset, free) according to the Warranty Statement papers provided within the box with this headset, it is supposed to be valid 1 year (ONE YEAR) from the purchase date...

I added the device to my HPSA (Hewlett-Packard Support Assistant), and wasn't given the option to dispute my warranty at all... Now I am greatly dismayed by this, as the headset is breaking down/wearing out before it's expected EOL (End of Life) and EOW (End of Warranty). I have taken extreme care of this headset.  I expect this warranty to be honored as (1/one) I didn't own the headset during is warranty at all, and (2/two) this came directly from HP, and with an already expired warranty, I infer that the product was used (and not new).

Please help...
