I've had an HP Omen Photon mouse for about 10 months. but after 2 months I started noticing issues with the scroll wheel. When I scroll, the mouse will randomly detect a command to go the opposite way. It wasn't so bad at first, but right now, it happens on about one out of two scrolls which is extremely annoying as it makes it nearly impossible to scroll down a page. It's not a driver issue as I've already updated them. It's a hardware issue as I have the same issue on other devices. The absolute lack of documentation on how to disassemble the mouse makes it impossible for me to check inside the mouse. I tried cleaning the inside as much as I could but to no avail.
