Omen accelerator eGPU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Nuc 8i5 and Omen accelerator eGPU with Geforce 1060 6mb

Every time I turn on the NUC for the first time, no hdmi signal, fans goes fast. I have to do a NUC hard turn off, unplug the Omen power accelerator cord, wait 10 minutes, plug the power cord, turn on the NUC, fans goes fast for around 2 seconds and reduce the revolutions...means it works!!!

All drivers updated.

Any tip? Thanks.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Did you make any changes in the settings of your PC prior to the issue?

Have you tried updating the system software driver and BIOS?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

No changes done, a clear windows install and the whole drivers, nuc and Omen accelerator ones.

Changed thunderbolt cable, same issue.
