HP Pavilion Gaming 500 Keyboard - only allows two keys pressed at same time

Hello,

I purchased the HP Pavilion gaming 500 Keyboard thinking it looked like a reasonable priced mechanical keyboard. As soon as I plugged it in I decided to test it in various scenarios.

I've noticed that you can only have two keys pressed at any one time then any other keys won't be registered. This makes it 100% useless for most gaming scenarios where often multiple keys will need to be depressed at any one time.

I'm not sure if its a feature that can be disabled, "anti ghosting" maybe? Any advice would be great.

Have you checked the Keyboard with a different computer?

Try using the Macros in Omen Command Center and check if that helps.

Thanks for coming back bu tahts not going to help - the macros are for predefined actions when I'm talking about a "gaming" keyboard not being able to recognise multiple key presses at the same time. Are you aware of a way to disable this and allow more than two key strokes (of any) at any one time?

At this point i suggest you contact HP Support and our Support Engineers should be able to remote into your Notebook and sort this out

I'm not sure you fully understand - its not a notebook, its a keyboard 😕

Yes but the Support Agents will need to Remote into your computer to check out the settings, not to physically fix the Keyboard
