HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

Hello,

 

I have just received my HP Reverb G2. I have set it up according to the instructions, plugging in the cables in order, but the headset will not turn on. I have tried multiple different USB/Display ports, installed the latest windows update and rebooted the computer, but this does not solve the issue. On closer inspection, the light on the 6m cable power brick does not light up after pushing the button. The outlet is working fine, so I believe that there is an issue with the cable.

 

If it is relevant, the graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 6800
