HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, desperate college student here. A couple years back I bought a WMR headset from HP. Until recently it was a blast, but recently the left controller has stopped tracking entirely. The buttons still work and bluetooth is indeed connected, but the MR Portal constantly says "Lost Tracking," even when the controller is mere inches directly in front of the headset. Clearly the headset is fine, since the right controller is perfectly functional. However, this is quite literally a game-breaking problem, and Microsoft support was unable to help in any way.

I have seen others on the web with the same problem, but neither of the solutions I came across (deleting calibration cache files and factory resetting with a new driver install) worked. I am here asking for assistance (ideally from a real HP support agent), because I can't afford to throw away this kind of money every couple years, and this poor experience is severely harming my chances of ever choosing HP again.

Thanks,

-Bryce

PS attached is a video proving that the controller is functional in all senses except for tracking
