HP X1000 wireless gaming headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the headset for about 5 months and it was working fine.

Two days ago after reconnecting the dongle suddenly the headset stopped responding. The power indicator LED glows white, it doesn't play sound, power button and mute button do nothing.

Is there any way to physically force a shutdown/restart of the device??? Holding the power/mute buttons  does nothing and there doesn't seem to be a reset button. Im hoping it will work fine  after  a restart but it's been on for almost 48 hours and nothing changes.

After 5 days of the LED being partially lit(white light but less intense than normal) it finally ran out of battery. Then I was able to power it up using the power button and it worked fine since.

I'm very disappointed in HP support response(No response in over a week since the question was asked and it's the only option in my country for headset support) , and very disappointed in the product's design that cannot force to power it down/reset without disassembly.
