hello sir i have lost theUSB receiver of HP x4000 Wireless Mouse with Laser Sensor and i hope you can hple me with that. i saw so many youtube videos has the same issues some mouse's company can repair the device with the unifying receiver software, HP has the unifying receiver software of the HP x4000 mouse??

Yes it uses HP Link-5 Technology. But if you need to purchase another USB receiver, you will probably have to buy another peripheral that also has it. HP doesn't sell Link-5 products anymore. You will have to search the web for a third party seller that might have it.

So what u saying is that there is no any solution to use my mouse again? I cannot unstall a software relate to the mouse so I can reconnect it😭

In your title you said you lost the usb receiver, yes? If so you need another receiver.

How would you connect the mouse with just software??? 😒

There is a driver for one of the link 5 wireless keyboards, but I doubt that do anything for what you need...
