HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am not able to get the mic to work. It worked great for a long time, but now I don't get a response. I am using VoiceAttack software to talk to MSFS 2020. But, now, the mic doesn't respond to my commands. Any suggestions, please?  I have checked all connections and they are good. The mic just stopped working. Thanks!

Welcome to the HP support community

I understand that Mic is not working on your HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset, I am glad to assist you.

VoiceAttack uses Windows' built-in speech recognition to do its thing.  Out of the box, the speech engine uses the default recording device to receive input.  The recording devices can be accessed by right-clicking on the, 'Speakers' icon in the system tray and selecting, 'Recording Devices'.  Right-clicking on the desired microphone/headset and selecting, 'Set as default device' will do just that.  You will know your device is selected as the default by the green checkmark appearing over the device's icon.

Keep me posted.

Thanks, but I have done that and the mic still does not work. It was working, but now I can't get it to be recognized.
