HP 27xq 27-inch Display
Microsoft Windows 11

I have these light streaks that appear in some areas and disappear in the midst of the colors

I never erased the screen and I don't know what to do

And the problem frustrates me in some games when it appears

First, thank you for the reply.

As for the results, they were not satisfactory at all.

  • First, the case that there is a dead pixel is very unlikely, since I checked the screen in multiple colors, but there was no change or the presence of black or white dots. (with app UDPixel)
  • I changed the screen resolution without any difference
  • I changed the frame refresh rate without any difference (144Hz - 120Hz - 75Hz - 60Hz)
  • I used another computer and same problem
  • I changed the cable from Displayport to HDMI since I relied on Displayport a lot (same problem with HDMI )

I want to point out that what I noticed is that these relics were in the form of menu icons for a game I played a lot ( Although it is not very clear, I made sure that it takes the same place and shape as the icons in this game ).

(It is noticeable that this defect does not appear in the five colors R-G-B & Black & Withe = with app UDPixel)

Thanks for your response.

An outdated graphics driver can cause display issues, such as visible lines. Make sure that the driver is up to date.

For more information, go to HP PCs - Updating drivers and software with Windows Update (Windows 10).

If the issue persists, let me know.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Personally, I update all drivers continuously and they are now in the latest update, whether the graphics card, BIOS, Windows or any other driver (all in the latest version).
