Mouse problem

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have this gaming mouse I've been using for 2 years now and today I restarted my laptop to complete an uninstallation

 and when my laptop restarted my mouse didn't work anymore, it was recognized as a the same ''usb gaming mouse'' as before but it didn't work, it didn't have any lights, it wasn't moving it was like it was not plugged in, I tried to use my brothers mouse (usb aswell) and it did work whatever the usb port I was trying. Then I tried to use my mouse on my brothers computer and there it didn't work aswell (it recognized it and installed it but same issue). Please send your solutions or ideas if you have any. Have a good evening.

Mouse : Gameboost MB.200

@Helpmeplsgangst Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing issues with the mouse.

In that case, I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Keep us posted,

If you would like to thank us for our efforts to help you,
