OMEN Mindframe Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I've had the OMEN Mindframe headset for a bit now and have been pretty happy with it! Unfortunately, I've recently been experiencing a strange issue with the Microphone. Whenever I move it from the muted, 'up' position to the unumuted, 'down' position I get some very serious audio static over the microphone, that then gets replayed over the headset. If I were to use the microphone while this is happening, those on the receiving end hear it as well. It basically sounds as if I was blowing as hard as I could into my directly into my microphone. I have to keep 'jiggling' the mic around for a few seconds until it gets into a sweet spot where this doesn't happen.

Not the worst thing ever but it can be fairly annoying to do every time I get up from the computer and set down my headset. Was wondering if anyone experienced the same issue and if anything was done that could fix it?

Hello @Bvan1

The issue you describe is a physical failure and would need to be fixed by HP if you are still under warranty.

Ill ask if someone can give you further information about that.

That'd be great, thank you so much. It is definitely still under warranty lucky!
