Omen 30l PC not connecting to TV through HDMI

I have a Omen 30l I bought from a friend, he said he had his HDMI setup to his TV but it won't connect to my tv. I know my HDMI cord works because it's the one I use for my playstation 5. It just shows no signal and I do not know how to fix it.
