HP Reverb G2 VR Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

About 6 months ago I received my HP Reverb G2 Headset which worked perfectly until the cable connecting the PC and the headset developed the usual faults associated with this early model cable.

I contacted HP support and was supplied a new cable under warranty which was delivered by over night delivery.

The cable I received is the same model cable that I received with the Reverb G2 early this year and is not the new and greatly improved cable available with todays new Reverb G2 headset.

Since I received the replacement cable I upgraded my PC and replaced the Intel CPU and 1080Ti GPU with an AMD CPU and AMD GPU.

Since the upgrade I have been experiencing problems getting a reliable connection to the G2 headset speakers so rely mostly on the PC speakers.

From my research it appears the fault is not with the replacement cable but is a common problem with AMD based PC's.

I understand that those AMD PC owners who had the same issues as myself solved all their problems by replacing the older style cable with one of the recently released cables.

I understand the newer model cable has an on/off power switch on the box and improved electronics which overcomes the issues when connecting to an AMD based PC.

My question is where in Australia can I buy the new Reverb G2 cable?

Cheers
