Hi, 

I’m considering buying the HP27mx monitor for my PS5 that’s about to arrive but I was unsure whether or not it supports 144hz (120hz on the PS5) over the HDMI. The specification section doesn’t mention if it’s just via display port or via both HDMI and display port. Bit of dealbreaker if it doesn’t support it over HDMI so just want to make sure before I purchase.

Without AMD FreeSync

  • Horizontal: 30 to 89 KHz
  • Vertical: 50 to 76 Hz

With AMD FreeSync

  • DisplayPort: 223 - 223 KHz
  • HDMI: 30 - 223 KHz

and  Recommended resolution

       1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz (FHD)

 

I believe your PS5 does not use AMD chip
