Hi @Sam6543,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your HP Wireless Mouse X200. Could you please share a bit more about what exactly isn’t working? Like:

– Is the mouse not turning on at all?
– Are the clicks or scroll not responding?
– Have you tried replacing the battery?

The more details you give, the quicker I can help you figure this out,

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hi @Sam6543,

Thank you for the response; that sounds frustrating.

Here are a few things to look into:

Change the Battery (if you haven’t)

A weak battery can cause slow or faulty response in clicks & scrolling.

Try on a Different Computer or Laptop

If same issue happens, it’s likely a hardware issue.

If it works fine on another device, maybe a driver or port issue.

USB Dongle Check

Make sure the receiver (USB dongle) is:

Not dusty or damaged

Plugged into a direct USB port (not a hub)

Inserted into a USB 2.0 port (sometimes USB 3.0 can interfere)

If none of these steps work, I’d recommend visiting the nearest HP service center. They’ll take a closer look and help you out further: Click Here

I hope this helps.
