Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset 1G5U1AA
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi!

I just registered my brandnew HP Reverb G2 VR Headset and immediately after registration the HP Webite says there would be no more warranty as it is outdated. How can that be?

Next, I wonder if there is an issue with Windows 11 or eventually with AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs as practically all USB ports I plug the Reverb in show me errors. My PC is brandnew, having a super-fast Ryzen 9 CPU 5950X.

Very few of the USB ports work, and if they do, the Mixed Reality Portal says "Ready", but the sound is changing from my monitor to the Reverb and back and forth, every 5 seconds.

I found that many other people have the same issue, but there is no real and good solution anywhere

Is there a statement from HP about that?

Interesting enough I found another very small sticker on the box of my Reverb G2.

This sticker has black color and is on the corner of the black carton box. The serial number is printed in dark grey on it. Well, thank you for this unreadable contrast!

But when I entered this serial number, I immediately got the warranty confirmed.

I am just wondering why the registration page also recognized the other number on a bigger white sticker and came up with "no more warranty". Really strange!
