Serial number not working, want to get new gen 2 cable for my AMD system

I received my Reverb G2 a week ago, and it works some of the time, mostly with no audio. Seems to be a problem with the first cable and AMD systems, so I wanted to contact support to receive a new cable. I have tried every day since receiving the headset to use my serial number to verify my warranty so I may continue to contact support, however it has not verified. I don't know what to do at this point.

I am not using the serial number on the cable, I have been using the number inside of the headset. I have tried replacing 1's with i's and 0's with o's to no avail.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty.
