Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I get the infamous error 4-1 - need to unplug the display port at the headset side and then re-plug it in and it resets the 4-1 error  - clearly not an the solution and given the variables I'm running Asus MB Z370, with a powered USB HUB, and Asus RTX 2070S .

I will contact HP support

same with my rig. Forget all the software tweaking. The HP Reverb G2 clearly has a hardware issue with the USB 3 connection and their cable - HP just wont admit it as any hardware fix takes months to arrive so they buy time and ask you to call. I received a powered mini-usb hub but that did nothing. I now hope to receive a new cable from HP support that hopefully works, but their real fault is HP's shoddy testing before sending halfbaked headsets to customers.
