WMR Headset replacement cable needed

My HP headset cable has broken from regular use. Window does not recognize the device and I can see visible bent pins/metal on the end of the cable. It also heats up when plugged in. 

How can I get a replacement cable? The replacement part  is available to purchase, part no:

940814-001

but it's $140! That's almost what I paid for the headset..

Can someone help me and get a cable shipped? I can provide my shipping address and serial number.
