Hey

my specs are:

-amd a6 5200 4core 4thread ft3 socket

can I upgrade the cpu? Is it even worth it? And if so what would I upgrade it to?

-HD 8400 integrated
can I add an mxm gpu inside the lapto if there are pci slots?

-4gb ram I heard the maximum is 8 but then I also hear it’s 16 idk?

-500 gb hdd I think I’ll probably switch it to ssd

-790630-001 motherboard what can I add or upgrade on the motherboard?

-optical drive what can I do with the optical drive to make it useful? because I don’t use it is there other stuff I can use it for upgrading other than more storage?

I’m curious to know what I’d need for building games. Now I’m a beginner and I’d like to start off with just dabbling and trying to build 2d games but 3D games do interest me and I heard it will be difficult but I’m down to try but my laptop has been slow lately and I tried programming on it but it was just too slow and was a hassle to run the gaming engine (Godot) like I can barely run minecraft only getting around 20 FPS I need help with what I can and should upgrade

This is your second post. Please use other post, For CPU, you can't because  CPU is soldered to the System board which contains

  (a) Motherboard,

  (b) CPU with integrated video,

  (b) Video card (if applicable),

  (c) Operating system.

All above 3 or 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board. That means you can upgrade to other CPU (if available) but very expensive.

Regards.
