Omen Accelerator

I'm planning to buy an accelerator and a non-HP laptop. I saw that it works with many other laptops too over HP, but I'm not sure if it's gonna work with USB-C and a thunderbolt cable ( since they have the same type of port ). Laptops with thunderbolt 3 are quite expensive that's why I'm asking.

Hi,

You will need a Thunderbolt 3 port for it to work, this is true for most external GPU housings. A regular USB-C port does not have enough data throughput for the graphics system to work.

Hope it helps,

David
