product not functioning

hp omen 600 gaming mouse

hello i bought the hp omen 600 gaming mouse a while ago and i really could not find a way to assign the forward button (mouse 5) button in the game i hope you reply very soon. Thank you

Which game are you playing?

Are you setting the forward key for a particular game or for all the games?

How are you trying to set up the forward key? 

Which PC did you connect this mouse to?

As @Flower_Bud is out of the office today, I'm replying to you. 

 

During my research, I came across the Mouse software/driver for HP OMEN Mouse with SteelSeries. This software package provides the software/drivers for the OMEN Mouse on supported PC models running a supported operating system. 
This software/driver enables configuration of button functions and scrolling on the OMEN Mouse.

 

Please click here to download and install this software.

 

You may watch this Youtube video to configure the software. 
NOTE: This is a third part link so please avoid clicking on any other links or advertisements.

I am really sorry but the software didn't help at all as all it said was that it couldn't detect any steel series product so I don't think this software work for the mouse and the software was on the latest version.
Sorry if I have been annoying with my requests and questions am really sorry. But I would really like it if u can find a solution
